As part of the genus Lilium, lilies are herb flowery plants growing from bulbs. Their beautiful appearance makes them often found in agricultural fairs. Some species are even edible.

Though varies in color and flower shape, lilies generally have lance-shaped leaves, long upright stems and beautiful trumpet-shaped fragrant flowers. There are around 110 species of them.
